Help protect children in Ukraine
As the War in Ukraine enters its third year on February 24, #GolfersForUkraine returns to underline the global golf community’s support of Ukraine. The charity is a powerful example of sport making a real difference to the lives of children in need.
Already donated by the global golf community
Established in 2022 by the world’s leading golf organizations in collaboration with UNICEF,
#GolfersForUkraine raised 810,087 USD over the course of three months to help children in Ukraine affected by the war.
We will start the donation but hope many other fans, players, organizations, and companies within the golf community will join. All donations will go to UNICEF's work in Ukraine.
There are no winners here. No victories to be had. And no business edge. We just want to make a stand for what we believe is right and to invite everyone who feels the same way to join us.

UNICEF is on the ground in Ukraine, bringing lifesaving help and hope to children and families.
UNICEF is trucking safe water to conflict-affected areas and prepositioning health, hygiene and emergency supplies as close as possible to families near the contact line. In addition, UNICEF is supporting mobile child protection teams providing psychosocial care to traumatized children and children separated from family.
In neighbouring countries, UNICEF is setting up safe spaces called 'Blue Dots' for children and families on the move, to provide key information to traveling families, safe spaces for mothers and children, and the ability to identify unaccompanied and separated children and ensure their protection.

This is a joint effort involving many of the leading golf organizations in the world who have come together to create a platform for helping children in Ukraine, and to provide credibility to the fundraiser. The organizations are referred to as “Initiating organizations”. Many other golf organizations have since then joined to support by creating awareness and by donating. They are referred to as “Supporting organizations”.
The world of golf is one of the most resourceful sports in the world. With this comes a large responsibility. When we stand together we can impact the world much more than when we stand alone. In this case to raise as many funds as possible for children in Ukraine.

Because it is quick and effective help which will be coordinated by children's charity UNICEF and shows that the world of golf is fully in support of helping the children in Ukraine.
UNICEF is on the ground in Ukraine providing aid to children and
their families including emergency supplies like water, trauma care
as well as helping children separated from family. The charity has
already set up safe spaces for families in neighboring countries
called 'Blue Dots' with key information, safe spaces and the
protection of unattended children.
